Dr Lee Kim Shang Stralings-oncologie

Dr. Lee Kim Shang is senior adviseur, radiotherapeut-oncoloog bij het Parkway Cancer Center.

Dr. Lee studeerde in 1985 af aan de Nationale Universiteit van Singapore. Hij ontving de HMDP-beurs van het Ministerie van Volksgezondheid om van 1990 tot 1992 te trainen in het Saint Bartholomew's Hospital in Londen, en in 1996 bij de Neuro-Oncology Unit, Royal Marsden Hospital, Verenigd Koninkrijk. Dr. Lee behaalde zijn FRCR (Clinical Oncology) in 1993.

Prior to joining Parkway Pantai Hospitals (Singapore) as a senior consultant, Dr Lee was appointed as a Senior Consultant, Therapeutic Radiology Department at National Cancer Centre where he was also the Department Subspecialty Head for colorectal cancer at National Cancer Centre. During that time, Dr Lee held numerous concurrent appointments including Chairman of the Therapeutic Radiology Department Safety Committee, member of Ministry of Health Colorectale kanker Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee and member of the Specialist Training Committee (Radiation Oncology) in the Ministry of Health. Currently, he is also a member of the Protonstraaltherapie Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Health.

Naast algemene oncologie heeft dr. Lee een interesse in colorectale, centrale zenuw-, borst- en pediatrische kankers.
