Dato 'Dr Mohamed Ibrahim A. Wahid fikk sin Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) fra University of Wales, College of Medicine og sin spesialistgrad fra Royal College of Radiologists i London, Storbritannia (Storbritannia).

Etter å ha blitt trent i Storbritannia, returnerte han til Malaysia og opprettet kreftenheten ved University of Malaya Medical Center (UMMC) hvor han ble utnevnt til sjef for klinisk onkologi før han begynte på Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

In 2010, Dr Mohamed Ibrahim was appointed as the President of the Malaysian Oncological Society (MOS) and became President of the Asia Pacific Federation of Cancer Congress (APFOCC) in 2011. He was also the President of the South East Asia Radiology Oncology Group (SEAROG) from 2011 to 2013 and a Regent for South East Asia’s International Association for the Study of Lungekreft (IASLC). Dr Mohamed Ibrahim currently serves as the Vice President (Oncology) for the College of Radiology, Malaysia.
