Über Doktor
Dr. Lee Kim Shang ist leitender Berater und Radioonkologe am Parkway Cancer Centre.
Dr. Lee schloss 1985 sein Studium an der National University of Singapore ab. Er erhielt das HMDP-Stipendium des Gesundheitsministeriums für eine Ausbildung am Saint Bartholomew's Hospital in London von 1990 bis 1992 und 1996 an der Neuro-Onkologie-Abteilung des Royal Marsden Hospital im Vereinigten Königreich. Dr. Lee erhielt 1993 seinen FRCR (Klinische Onkologie).
Prior to joining Parkway Pantai Hospitals (Singapore) as a senior consultant, Dr Lee was appointed as a Senior Consultant, Therapeutic Radiology Department at National Cancer Centre where he was also the Department Subspecialty Head for colorectal cancer at National Cancer Centre. During that time, Dr Lee held numerous concurrent appointments including Chairman of the Therapeutic Radiology Department Safety Committee, member of Ministry of Health Darmkrebs Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee and member of the Specialist Training Committee (Radiation Oncology) in the Ministry of Health. Currently, he is also a member of the Protonenstrahl-Therapie Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Health.
Neben der allgemeinen Onkologie interessiert sich Dr. Lee auch für Darm-, Zentralnerven-, Brust- und Kinderkrebs.
