We love our users because they love us. Check out some of the love they’ve sent our way

I am Andreea Alexandra Milca, a name that may sound like a simple list of words but which hides behind it a whole world of experiences, struggles, and victories. I have been battling various forms of this disease since the age of 23, from triple-negative breast cancer to osteosarcoma and other tumors. Each diagnosis was a painful blow, but at the same time, a challenge that I accepted with determination. The discovery of the TP53 mutation and Li-Fraumeni syndrome gave me a deeper understanding of my vulnerability, but also of the importance of genetic testing in the oncological patient's journey. I understood that prevention and early detection can make the difference between life and death. Out of a desire to change things, to give hope to others, to help other patients, I founded the Sănătatea Viitorului association.

Multiple Cancer Survivor, Romania

Yiyi, T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma with central nervous system involvement and cytomegalovirus infection. After being diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma at another hospital, Yiyi experienced several central relapses. She received multiple rounds of high-dose methotrexate and repeated intrathecal injections but did not achieve remission. When she was admitted to one of the best hematology hospitals in Beijing, China. Professor Yonghong ZHANG's team thoroughly reviewed her previous treatments and determined that her symptoms did not align with a central relapse. Further tests revealed that Yiyi had a concurrent cytomegalovirus infection, leading to a diagnosis of cytomegalovirus encephalitis. Following antiviral treatment, the abnormal cells in her central nervous system disappeared, and Yiyi's condition improved quickly. Her full remission, which has lasted, was the result of successful follow-up treatments. Yiyi, who enjoys singing and dancing, is now able to perform on stage again.

"I uneventfully went out of the transplant ward after more than 20 days. At that time, I was very optimistic, but I was really afraid that I had severe intestinal rejection after I went out of the warehouse. My attending doctor is the best doctor I've ever met in any hospital. In the hospital, I called her when I was uncomfortable, and she would come over and gently ask, "Baby, what's wrong with you?" I stayed in the hospital for so long with a positive mood and mentality thanks to the help of the doctor. She would answer my questions when I was not feeling well after I came home. Thanks to the CancerFax and GHG medical team for saving my life and healing my physical and mental ailments."

Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)

"Although the diagnosis of this disease was unexpected, my family and I promptly accepted it and initiated anti-tumor treatment, which represented a significant transition for me. I underwent a challenging course of treatment, involving immunotherapy, targeted therapies, antibody-based drugs, hematopoietic stem cell transplants, CAR-T therapy, and other potential options. However, despite these efforts, the tumor load remained unaltered. Unfortunately, my doctor informed me that there were no further promising therapies available in Russia at that time. Thanks to the CancerFax and GHG hospital team for ensuring I get the best possible treatment and care. I am fully fit and fine now."
