Dr. Seenivasagam Theruvenkidan Pillai is among the top surgeon in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dr Seenivasagam completed his medical education at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1997. Upon completion of postgraduate studies and Masters in General Surgery, he was posted to Ipoh Hospital as a General Surgeon in 2004.

He developed an interest in colon and rectal surgery and became a trainee colorectal surgeon. He completed his Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery from Singapore in 2009, and he was posted to Selayang Hospital as a Colorectal Surgeon.

Dr Seenivasagam performs advanced endoscopic procedures namely colonic stenting, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and polypectomy as well as minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendectomy, laparoscopic ventral hernia repair and laparoscopic colectomies for colorectal cancer. Dr Seenivasagam also has a vast experience in open and laparoscopic colectomies, stapler and open haemorroidectomy and haemorroidal artery ligation.
