Dr Harwant Singh is an orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in spine surgery from the UK and USA. He has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, and a broad range of more than 20 years clinical experience having served in public, academic and private hospital consultant positions.
Dr Harwant Singh also serves in many international spine society scientific committees, is a reviewer for several spine journals, and a regular speaker and instructor in spine surgery workshops internationally. He has published extensively (53 peer reviewed journal articles and 51 peer reviewed indexed abstracts) and contributed chapters in several spine reference books. He holds several patents in new spine technology; and is especially interested in areas of unmet clinical needs in the spine arena.
He also has a keen interest in patient advocacy and was a Fulbright Fellow in 2001 and Visiting Fellow in Healthcare Ethics at Oxford in 2009.
