Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases, including Thalassemia, Aplastic Anemia (AA), Congenital Bone Marrow Failure, Congenital Immunodeficiency and Genetic Metabolic Diseases, Various Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Hemophagocytic Lymphocytosis, etc.

Professor LI has over 40 years of experience in pediatrics.He has studied at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States, Pesaro Bone Marrow Transplantation Center in Italy, and Kansai Medical University in Japan.

He is a member of the Stem Cell Transplantation Application Group within the Hematology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; a member of the Hematological Oncology Group of the Chinese Academy of Pediatrics; a member of the Asian VIWA Bone Marrow Transplantation Committee; the Honorary President of the Thalassaemia Association of Guangdong Province; the former Director of Pediatrics at Nanfang Hospital; the Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Pediatric Anti-Cancer Prevention Association; and a member of the Standing Committee of the Pediatric Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association.

Editorial Board member of the Chinese Journal of Pediatric Hematology & Oncology and the International Journal of Blood Transfusion and Hematology; he was the inaugural president and creator of the Guangdong Thalassemia Prevention Association.

He has consistently created and refined transplantation protocols in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation technology, successfully completing over 1,800 cases of diverse pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplants.

Professor Li has authored multiple articles in prestigious hematology journals, including Blood, British Journal of Hematology, American Journal of Hematology, and Blood Advances in Hematology. Furthermore, Prof. Li has spoken at the Annual Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) and the American Society of Hematology (ASH) for three successive years.
