Dato’ Dr Mahmood Merican is one of the pioneer doctors of Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. He graduated from his first medical degree in Singapore, then further his education in England in general surgery and thereafter Masters in Orthopaedics in Liverpool. He was the third qualified orthopaedic surgeon in whole of Malaysia when he came back from England in 1966.
